Rev. Fr. Eric Oduro Wiafe obtained his Master of Philosophy degree in the Study of Religions in the University of Ghana and did a short study in International Communications at the International University in Germany, Bruchsal. He obtained his doctorate degree from the Wolfgang Goethe University in Franfurt, Germany.
He has written a number of books: Arise Christian Youth: Essays in Christian Formation; The Rescue, Christianity and African Traditional Religion’s Approach to Issues of Life and Death, Inter-religious Dialogue and Cooperation among the three major Religions of Ghana, The Role of Religion in Poverty Alleviation in Africa, The Three major Religions in Ghana: History, Theology and Influence and Towards a New consciousness for a Better Africa: Some Topical Issues in Ghana, etc.
He is very much concerned about the integral growth and development of the Ghanaian society and so the Wir News is geared towards pushing that agenda.
